Oven Roasted Elephant Garlic is perfect for those who can’t stand to eat garlic raw. It is also good to add into other recipes such as soups and pasta sauce. With elephant cloves, each single clove is worth three regular garlic cloves, so use sparingly.
What you will need:
A cupcake pan
And of course, however many cloves of elephant garlic you want to use. One does go a long way though.
What you need to do: (1.) Peel all the outer shells of the garlic bulbs. (2.) Insert Cloves of garlic into cupcake pan, one clove per hole. (3.) Drizzle each clove with a teaspoon of olive oil. (4.) Cover each clove with a small piece of aluminum foil. Preheat oven to 400 (350 if your oven is like mine and tends to bake things faster). Once oven is ready, put cupcake pan on middle rack and bake for 40 minutes. (5.) Enjoy.
